Volvo chosen as CCI partner
Agreement signed for hybrid technology.
The Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI), launched by the Clinton Foundation last year, has selected Volvo as a partner, based on its work with hybrid buses and bus rapid transit (BRT).
The partnership is with the Initiative’s C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, an association of 40 of the world’s largest cities. The CCI has signed an agreement with Volvo, to apply its knowledge and contacts in the 40 cities to demonstrate the potential offered by the hybrid technology and BRT system with regard to reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
