BoltBus adds 15 MCI D4505s

[IMAGE]Bolt-Bus1-2.jpg[/IMAGE]Making its first-ever purchase of new MCI equipment, BoltBus added 15 MCI D4505 coaches to its fleet.
The coaches, equipped with custom seats, three-point seat belts, Wi-Fi, 110-volt power outlets and extra legroom, are already in service in several northeastern markets.
The MCI coaches also feature clean-diesel Cummins engines and Allison transmissions, along with standard features including antilock brakes, electronic stability control, automatic traction control, SmartWave tire-pressure monitoring and other high-performance features. The coaches are additionally equipped with wheelchair lifts and can accommodate two wheelchair positions.
A joint-venture between Greyhound Lines Inc. and Peter Pan Bus Lines, BoltBus operates in the Northeastern U.S. It offers online fares starting at $1 as well as walk-up service. BoltBus also offers its passengers extra leg-room and reserved seating along with free Wi-Fi and access to plug-ins for their electronic devices.
