TriMet awarded Connectpoint a second five-year contract to continue delivering real-time information through advanced digital signage at bus stops and stations.
Under the new contract, TriMet will expand its deployment of Connectpoint’s technology, including the Digital Bus Stop, Connectpoint LED and signage, and the Falcon text-to-speech button. The solutions are powered by CPAM (Connectpoint Asset Management), the industry’s only cloud-based, device-agnostic content management system.
CPAM provides comprehensive control over system health, power, and content and can be accessed remotely from any mobile device for immediate updates and performance monitoring. Additionally, CPAM can seamlessly function as an emergency messaging system.
Since 2020, TriMet has installed over 450 solar-powered 13-inch ePaper displays throughout the Portland metro area, including high-traffic transit stops, hubs and city corridors. Additionally, over 325 LED signs enhance communication along TriMet’s 15-mile Division Transit Project, connecting downtown Portland and Gresham, and along TriMet’s MAX Light Rail network.
The Kaua'i Bus launched a new digital fare payment system powered by Masabi.
Kauai Bus, the agency’s new mobile ticketing app, brings modern fare payment capabilities to Kaua'i public transit system, making it easier than ever for residents and visitors to ride the agency’s services.
With the launch of the Kaua'i Bus app, riders can now purchase single-ride tickets, day passes, monthly passes, and annual passes directly from their devices, anytime anywhere. Additionally, riders also have the option to manage their Stored Value Accounts (SVA) through either the app or an online portal, making it easy to add funds and purchase fares at their convenience, anytime and anywhere.
Masabi’s has also provided onboard ticket validators which have been installed across the Kaua'i Bus fleet, ensuring seamless boarding, reduced dwell times, and enhancing the overall transit experience.

FlixBus launched a new stop at Key West International Airport, expanding its popular Miami-Key West route.
The new stop connects Key West to Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, and the Florida Keys, offering travelers greater flexibility and access to some of Southeast Florida’s most sought-after destinations.
In collaboration with Key West International Airport, FlixBus now integrates its service with the existing Greyhound stop on the airport campus, enabling seamless connections to both Key West and Miami airports.
The addition enhances connectivity for both tourists and residents, providing a convenient, eco-friendly alternative to driving on the heavily trafficked U.S. Route 1.
InterMotive Vehicle Controls launched a new division, InterMotive Connect, providing commercial vehicle chassis harnessing and integrated electronic control systems.
The strategic expansion underscores the company's commitment to innovation and growth, aiming to become a single-source partner for its customers.
