Frontrunner Bus Group Delivers 1K Bus

Frontrunner Bus Group Inc. has reached a significant milestone with the delivery of its 1,000th Frontrunner bus, underscoring the company’s commitment to reshaping public transit through efficient, accessible, and durable vehicle solutions.

At the core of Frontrunner’s success is its signature low-floor design, which enhances accessibility, speeds up boarding, and eliminates the multi-step entries found in traditional cutaway buses. This design, paired with a focus on passenger comfort and long-term cost savings, positions the company as a leading provider of modern transit vehicles tailored to real-world operational needs.

Frontrunner’s close partnership with Stellantis, its exclusive chassis supplier, has been instrumental in reaching this production milestone. Each bus is built with lightweight, high-strength materials to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. At the same time, a compact footprint and advanced engineering promote fleet right-sizing, route flexibility, and extended service life.

Niagara Transit, Optibus Collaborate to Enhance Passenger and Driver Experience

The move aligns with Niagara Transit’s upcoming Transit Master Plan, which aims to create more connected communities over the next decade. Optibus was selected through a competitive RFP process for its flexibility, AI-powered optimization tools, and strong customer support.

Stadler Opens U.S. Signaling Office

Stadler marked a significant milestone in its U.S. growth by opening a new signaling office in Uptown Atlanta, the Stadler Signaling Division's first major international expansion.

The move follows a significant signaling contract awarded by MARTA in November 2024. The new office, located next to the Lindbergh Center MARTA station and headquarters, will enable close collaboration and effective project delivery.

Designed to support long-term growth, the facility includes laboratory space, room for team expansion, and access to Atlanta’s robust infrastructure and talent pool. The office reinforces Stadler’s commitment to the North American signaling market and deepens its partnership with MARTA.
