ABA appoints policy official
Phillips brings over a decade of experience in transit.
Transportation issue veteran Robin Phillips has joined the staff at the American Bus Association as senior director for policy.
Phillips most recently served the Washington State Department of Transportation, focusing on multi-modal intercity transportation project development. She also served the Oregon Department of Transportation as intercity manager for its public transit division. Prior to her state DOT work, Phillips was as an attorney for the U.S. Justice Dept. Civil Division, Commercial Litigation Branch, Portland, and with the public defender. She has a BA from Reed College and a JD from Willamette College of Law.
