New York City, Washington, D.C., and Branson, Mo., were listed as top U.S. travel destinations by the American Bus Association (ABA) and Destination magazine's 2004 Best and the Rest Survey. Niagara Falls and Toronto, both in Ontario, and Montreal were listed as the top Canadian travel destinations. Each year, the ABA surveys motorcoach and tour operators on the destinations and cities with the most to offer and best value for groups. Motorcoach and tour operators cited Charlevoix, Quebec; San Antonio, Texas; and Banff, Alberta, as hot, new destinations. Philadelphia's convention and visitors bureau was chosen as the top organization of its kind because it provides tour groups with a variety of itineraries, good online information and co-op advertising possibilities.
