ARBOC Specialty Vehicles introduced the Spirit of Independence, the newest member of the ARBOC line of buses. 

The Spirit of Independence is a light-duty, low-floor shuttle bus and is perfect for use as a hotel shuttle, executive shuttle or in the assisted living market. The patent pending low-floor design is an industry first, joining a light-duty chassis cab to a low-floor chassis assembly. This unique design was developed exclusively by ARBOC Specialty Vehicles and offers a passenger capacity of up to 14 ambulatory or four wheelchairs.

The 96-inch wide body offers a flat-floor interior with superior headroom providing easy maneuverability inside the vehicle for both ambulatory and wheelchair passengers. The Spirit of Independence made its debut at the 2016 LCT show in Las Vegas.

“We had a lot of interest in the Spirit of Independence and plan production to commence in the 3rd quarter of 2016,” said ARBOC President/CEO Don Roberts.
