ASV names new Canadian Bus Division national sales manager
Ron Campbell will lead international sales in Canada for ASV’s commercial, transit and school bus brands and report directly to John Walsh, VP, sales, for ASV Bus.
Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV) announced Ron Campbell as its new Canadian Bus Division national sales manager for ASV Bus.
Campbell will lead international sales in Canada for ASV’s commercial, transit and school bus brands and report directly to John Walsh, VP, sales, for ASV Bus.
“I’m very pleased that Ron is joining ASV to lead bus sales in Canada,” said Kent Tyler, president of ASV Bus & Mobility Group. “Ron has more than two decades of bus sales experience, especially in the school bus market and established relationships with key ASV bus dealers and customer accounts in Canada, making him an ideal fit for this market.
Campbell arrives from Creative Carriage, a bus and mobility conversion vehicle dealer and manufacturer of wheelchair accessible vehicles located in St. George, Ontario, where he was sales manager. Previously, he served as national sales manager, Canada and eastern U.S., for Micro Bird Inc., as well as holding sales and technical support positions with Girardin Corp., Q’Straint and Cambridge Transit.
ASV Bus is made up of several brands — Champion Bus, Collins Bus, ElDorado National-California, ElDorado-Kansas, Federal Coach, Goshen Coach and Krystal — that manufacture light-, medium- and heavy-duty commercial buses for public transit, paratransit, airport, parking, hotel/resort, group tour, assisted living, church and university transportation markets.
