Macatawa Area Express, based in Holland, Mich., received three new 30-foot Blue Bird Ultra LF low-floor buses. The LF model is a heavy-duty transit low-floor vehicle, with a 10-inch floor height at its front entrance and a 102-inch width. The 26-passenger bus is equipped with a 230 HP Cummins ISB engine, Allison transmission, front and rear-air suspension and a roof-mounted Thermo King climate control system. Wheelchair positions with Q'Straint Slide & Click securements are also featured.
