Calif. Trailways franchise purchases Setra coaches
Order of two S 417 models brings Setra fleet to four.
San Francisco-based El Camino Trailways is celebrating one year as a Trailways Transportation System affiliate with the purchase of two new Setra S 417 motorcoaches.
The order will supplement El Camino Trailways' existing luxury motorcoach fleet, bringing its Setra S 417 fleet to four.
El Camino Trailways was awarded a Trailways franchise in June 2006. A motorcoach operator since 1962, El Camino Trailways provides high-end charter and tour services. The company reports that the purchase was prompted by demand for the DaimlerChrysler Commercial Buses-branded Setra model by returning customers.
