CHICAGO — A state government agency ruled that a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus technician used his position to get a discounted price on his daughter’s car repairs, which were done by a company that works for the transit agency, the Chicago Tribune reported. The technician also falsified the invoice when an investigation was launched.

An executive inspector general decision found that Anthony R. Dudek, a 25-year CTA veteran who was promoted after the incident to a bus maintenance manager position, engaged in five counts of misconduct in violation of the agency's ethics rules. For the full story, click here.
