Cincinnati Metro named David Braun its new director, transit operations. In this role, he is responsible for managing the delivery of Metro’s fixed-route services to the Greater Cincinnati region to ensure operational excellence. He oversees all operators, service delivery and quality, supervision, dispatching, support operations, and Government Square — Metro’s busiest transfer point.

Braun will develop and recommend programs, operating practices, employee development, and training to improve the overall customer experience as well as the efficiency and the responsiveness of Metro’s fixed-route services.

Braun most recently served as VP, business development, for Transdev North America. Prior to joining Transdev in 2013, Braun served as VP, paratransit services, for American Logistics. He also spent 22 years at First Transit, growing from senior management roles at multiple locations, including GM of the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky.
