DCCBNA to offer SmarTire products on Setra coaches
Product upgrade helps ensure driver, passenger safety.
DaimlerChrysler Commercial Buses North America (DCCBNA) has chosen SmarTire Systems Inc. to begin offering its tire pressure and temperature monitoring systems (TPMS) as a product upgrade on Setra motorcoaches. The SmartWave TPMS provides drivers and fleet managers real-time tire pressure and temperature information while vehicles are still in motion, which helps improve driver and passenger safety, as well as operational efficiencies. “Our customers are continually looking for ways to optimize the efficiency of their coaches and the addition of the SmarTire System will provide operators with yet another value added benefit on the S417,” said Tom Chezem, vice president of new motorcoach sales for DCCBNA.
