Edmonton Transit hires Halifax chief to run agency
Eddie Robar said his departure has been in the works since he was contacted by Edmonton's transit system, which is three times the size of Halifax’s, in July.

EDMONTON, Alberta — Halifax Transit’s Director Eddie Robar announced he is leaving the agency after being hired to run the Edmonton Transit System, the Herald News reported.
Robar joins a number of senior Halifax bureaucrats to leave the municipality in recent months. However, he said his departure has been in the works since he was contacted by Edmonton's transit system, which is three times the size of Halifax’s, in July. For the full story, click here.
