Evenergi Launches North American Operations to Support Electrifying Fleets
The new offices, located in New York (with an office forthcoming in California) and Toronto, will be led by Sasha Pejcic, a transit industry veteran with extensive experience in zero emissions bus and vehicle transitions.

Evenergi, a provider in the planning, implementation, and management of optimized zero emissions transportation fleets and energy infrastructure, launched a dedicated North American operations. The new offices, located in New York (with an office forthcoming in California) and Toronto, will be led by Sasha Pejcic, a transit industry veteran with extensive experience in zero emissions bus and vehicle transitions.

As managing partner for North America, Pejcic will be responsible for customer experience, operations, growth, strategy, and performance management. Additionally, he will serve as Evenergi’s Global Bus Lead, lending his technical knowledge and expertise to the firm’s bus fleet projects internationally.
Evenergi was founded in Sydney, Australia in 2016 and has since expanded to the U.K. and India. The firm has since successfully supported over 200 clients ranging from federal and local government agencies in Australia and the U.K. to transit authorities in Singapore. More recently, the firm has been engaged by U.S.-based clients, including Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority in Michigan, Duke Energy in North Carolina, and King County Metro Transit in Seattle.

As part of Pejcic’s purview, he will help fleet operators from municipalities and bus, logistics, and utility industries to make the transition to zero emission vehicles, both battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell. Evenergi will be announcing some significant channel partnerships in the coming months so that customers can purchase the software directly or go through a reseller partner. In his previous roles with global design firms Stantec and WSP, Pejcic successfully led a portfolio of 100-plus diverse transit projects, including dozens in the zero-emission bus and vehicle space.
An active leader in the transit community, Pejcic is an Eno Center for Transportation leadership alumnus and serves on the board of directors for the Ontario Public Transit Association, as well as the Zero Emission Bus Task Force for the California Transit Association. He is additionally involved with numerous industry committees for APTA, CUTA and CTA, and he recently authored a chapter on ZEBs for the best-selling book, The Future of Public Transportation.
