WASHINGTON, D.C. — Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that the U.S. Department of Transportation stopped its review of a $5.5 billion loan request for Xpress West, a proposed high-speed rail line that would connect Las Vegas and Southern California.
Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis) have both raised concerns about the project.
