First Transit promoted Beverly Edwards to chief operating officer, reporting directly to Brad Thomas, president.
In this newly created position, Edwards will be responsible for the direction and oversight of all transit contracting and transit management daily operations. Edwards will focus her efforts on improving operational performance for our customers, delivering safe and disciplined operations through the use of key performance metrics, and innovative technology. All operating regions, information technology, and compliance will also report to Edwards.
