West Covina, Calif.-based Foothill Transit's executive board voted to approve an amendment extending the current management contract with Veolia Transportation.
The six-year term includes one year remaining on the existing contract and a new five-year term followed with five one-year renewal options.
Foothill Transit serves over 15 million customers on 36
fixed-route bus lines each year in the San Gabriel
and Pomona Valleys. Its 314-bus fleet covers 327
square miles.
