Grey Island Systems International Inc. announced Monday it signed an agreement to acquire California-based information technology company NextBus Information Systems Inc. NextBus products combine Global Positioning System data with patented predictive software to give vehicle arrival data to passengers via the Internet, bus stops or on the phone. The acquisition will expand each company's product offerings and sharing in technology, said Grey Island CEO Andrew Moore.
