Gibson Engineers PC, an engineering firm located in Fuquay-Varina, N.C., joined the Hatch Mott MacDonald organization. Gibson Engineers' practice is focused on transportation infrastructure, with the firm best known for its capabilities in highway design and rail design, traffic engineering and transportation planning.

Gibson Engineers will strengthen Hatch Mott MacDonald's transportation engineering practice in the southeastern states, where the firm has an established water, wastewater and transportation practice, according to Hatch Mott.

"We plan to expand the infrastructure services being offered from the Gibson location, thereby enabling Hatch Mott MacDonald to provide continuous geographic coverage for east coast projects," commented Nicholas DeNichilo, president/CEO of Hatch Mott MacDonald.
