Richmond, Va.-based James River Transportation received the “The President’s Award” from Trax Insurance Co. at its recent annual meeting. Each company is evaluated and given points based on their accident rates, training/safety program, maintenance system, garage safety and management training.
The award certifies that James River ranks in the top 10% of the insurance company’s members.
This is the fourth year in a row that the company has won the award. President Stephen Story said, “It was a great honor to accept the award on behalf of our entire team.”
James River Transportation is a full service transportation provider and event planning organization with facilities located in Richmond, Williamsburg and Norfolk. The company also has on-site operations at Richmond International Airport and Norfolk International Airport. Services include motorcoach and minicoach transportation, airport transfers, transportation management, contract services, and convention shuttles. The company has been in business for over 80 years.
