ORLANDO, Florida — Lynx CEO Edward Johnson resigned from his post amid concerns about morale, a strained budget and pressure on the bus service to better meet Central Florida’s public transportation needs, reported the Orlando Sentinel.
“There comes a time when new and adventurous opportunities present themselves,” Johnson said in a letter to Lynx board members. “As such, I will take advantage of this new career challenge,” the report said.
The agency's board tapped James E. (Jim) Harrison, an assistant county administrator for Orange County, to be interim CEO for up to three months.
