National Express acquires Total Transit
The acquisition offers significant benefits to National Express, including a renewed presence in the Phoenix and Tucson markets.
National Express acquired Total Transit Enterprises LLC and Discount Enterprises Inc. (collectively Total Transit). The company provides Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), as well as taxi services in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.
Headquartered in Phoenix, with a second facility in Tucson, Total Transit provides service to customers with a fleet of over 200 sedans, minivans, and shuttles. The acquisition offers significant benefits to National Express, including a renewed presence in the Phoenix and Tucson markets.
“With Total Transit becoming part of our National Express family, we are pleased to operate in two rapidly growing markets in Phoenix and Tucson. This addition enables us to serve new and existing customers, particularly in the NEMT space,” said Judith Crawford, CEO of National Express Transit.
