Stephanie Laubenstein was promoted to the role of director, sales & business development, in New Flyer’s Sales and Marketing department, reporting to Jennifer McNeill, VP, sales and marketing.
Laubenstein will lead the Business Segment Director and Technical Sales teams, and develop innovative technical and commercial solutions to meet the needs and demands of a rapidly changing public transit industry.
With New Flyer for nine years, Laubenstein started in customer program management and advanced to leadership of technical sales and business segments. She actively participates on American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and Canadian Urban Transit Association committees, is a recent graduate of the Leadership APTA program, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
The region’s fixed-route system finished out the year with a total of 373.5 million rides. Adding 12.3 million rides over 2024 represents an increase that is equal to the annual transit ridership of Kansas City.
