Nonprofit bringing tech bus to low income Mich. areas

LANSING, Mich. — The “Techtransport” bus will bring 3-D printing, robotics and digital design instruction to Lansing's low-income areas as early as next summer, reported the Lansing State Journal.
Logistics for the bus, sponsored by the nonprofit Information Technology Empowerment Center, are still being worked out, but its stops will most likely be in front of local schools, community centers and business parking lots. The project is set to launch by August 2015, however, the project is still looking for funding. For the full story, click here.
