Operators add Setras, Sprinters to fleets
Charter coach operator purchases seven Setras, parking company orders 17 Sprinter shuttle buses.
San Diego, Calif.-based Sun Diego Charter Company has purchased seven Setra S 417 motorcoaches from DaimlerChrysler Commercial Buses North America (DCCBNA), bringing to 15 the number of S 417 coaches in its fleet.
The S 417's interior cabin includes a state-of-the-art audio-visual system that offers a CD/DVD player and five 15-inch monitors. The S 417 provides extended maintenance intervals, a multiplex electrical system with self diagnostics and a low-maintenance HVAC system.
Meanwhile, FastPark, an off-site airport parking company with locations in eight markets across the U.S., has ordered 17 Dodge Sprinter shuttle buses. The vehicles were chosen, in part, for their fuel efficiency and low emissions output.
