SPX Genfare features new products at APTA Annual
The company’s latest, Fast Fare-e was developed for rapid and secure electronic payment via bus, bus rapid transit, light rail, paratransit applications and more.
SPX Genfare will be showcasing the next generation of products at the 2013 APTA Annual Meeting. Guests are welcome to visit Genfare at Booth #401 or at the Presidential Suite to explore these new innovations and ask any questions about these products.
Genfare demonstrates the latest technology delivered in products such as the Fast Fare and Fast Fare-e remote reader, offering the solutions and technology needed for today’s transit agencies.
The company’s latest, Fast Fare-e was developed for rapid and secure electronic payment via bus, bus rapid transit, light rail, paratransit applications and more. With NFC and 4G capability, Fast Fare-e can process magnetics, smart cards, printed QR codes and mobile QR codes. This compact design also includes a large, high resolution screen with color graphics.
Alongside Fast Fare-e, Genfare will be showcasing Fast Fare, the all-encompassing farebox that accepts electronic and cash payment including bills, coins, magnetics, smart cards, printed QR codes and mobile QR codes.
“We are always striving to innovate new products and systems to provide transit agencies with highly secure solutions that best meet their needs,” said SPX Genfare President Kim Green. “In 2012 and 2013, we have made significant investments in R&D to meet the growing needs of the market for new technology.”
Genfare’s Fast Fare family of products all work in orchestra with e-Fare, the Web-based fare management system. e-Fare’s user friendly Web interface empowers riders to fully manage their transit experience while improving their purchasing capability.
