New Flyer Industries Inc. announced the appointment of Wayne Joseph to executive VP, New Flyer Bus Business.

“In the last two years, we have combined the legacy New Flyer business with the bus businesses of North American Bus Industries (NABI),” says New Flyer President/CEO Paul Soubry. “The growth of this segment of our business required we install an executive leader to assume responsibility for performance of the bus business segment: strategy, products and services, sales, profitability and ownership of assets.”

Wayne Joseph joined New Flyer in 2008 in the role of executive VP, operations, and has played an instrumental role in the company’s success through his leadership of operational excellence initiatives, focus on product quality, and dedication to customer and employee satisfaction.

Ian Smart continues in his role of executive VP, aftermarket, where he is responsible for the parts, customer training, publications, and connect business across both the New Flyer and NABI brands.
