
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a letter to senior staff, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) GM Paul Wiedefeld said about 500 positions, including staff positions that are redundant or no longer deemed critical to the agency’s business interests, are being cut, dcist reports.
