Carrasco to lead West Coast zero emissions for WSP USA
Based out of the Sacramento and Oakland WSP offices, she will also support transit and rail initiatives in northern California.
Alva Carrasco has been named the zero-emissions bus market lead in the West for WSP USA.
Carrasco, who will be working from the Sacramento and Oakland WSP offices, will also support transit and rail initiatives in northern California.
“We are pleased to have someone with Alva’s experience and passion for these environmentally responsible transit fleets join our firm, and to make sure these new zero-emission fleets are developed economically while providing the maximum benefits possible for our clients,” said Frank Banko, deputy director of transit and rail for WSP.
Prior to joining WSP, Carrasco served as VP, maintenance, for the Sacramento Regional Transit District, where she was responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of its fleet of bus and light rail vehicles, wayside maintenance, and materials management.
