RATP Dev USA announced the appointment of Cyril Aubin, former managing director of Hong Kong Tramways, as the CEO of RATP Dev USA and Matt Booterbaugh as deputy CEO.

“I am thrilled to join the RATP Dev USA team at such a crucial yet exciting time and I look forward to building off of the great work the team has already accomplished,” said Aubin. “RATP Dev USA understands the future of public transit, and I’m eager to lead the company into its next stage of growth, serving transit authorities across the country during this age of innovation and unlimited potential.”

Aubin is a seasoned RATP Group executive with over 20 years of experience in the transit industry. He joins the U.S. from Hong Kong where he served as managing director of Hong Kong Tramways. Under Aubin's leadership, several fundamental works and cultural changes were initiated to sustain the Hong Kong icon including, asset modernization, business diversification and brand development, supply chain optimization, digitalization, partnerships, and others, according to RATP Dev USA.

In addition to Aubin becoming CEO, Booterbaugh, who joined RATP Dev USA in December of 2017 as SVP of operations and innovation and took over as chief development officer in April of 2020, has been appointed as deputy CEO. This new role will ensure that everything impacting clients — from operations to customer relations to maintenance — is grouped together under one leader, according to RATP Dev USA.

“I’m looking forward to my new role as deputy CEO and continuing to ensure the company’s advancement, growth, and continuous improvement,” said Booterbaugh. “It’s my goal to set the standards of the industry when it comes to safety and security and I look forward to continuing to develop and execute day-to-day best practices as deputy CEO,” he added.
