Freedman Seating named Stan Brzezniak director, bus sales. Brzezniak previously held the position of business development manager.

Having first joined the company in 2002 as a project engineer, Brzezniak focused on small and mid-size bus and step van applications. In 2003, he earned his MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Illinois Chicago. In the years to follow, with Brzezniak as OEM sales manager, Freedman Seating would become the leading manufacturer of heavy-duty bus seats in the U.S. and Canada.

“Over the years, Stan has grown in responsibility and influence at Freedman Seating,” said Dan Cohen, President. “Because of his leadership, business acumen, and knowledge of the bus industry, we have succeeded in new markets and built long-lasting relationships.”

Brzezniak will continue developing new market opportunities while leading Freedman’s national sales team, known for their excellent level of service and industry experience.

The transition of responsibilities includes the addition of John Mienik to Freedman’s regional sales team as southeastern sales manager — supporting dealers, operators, and agencies with bid specifications, product and safety training, and sales support. Mienik has also been elevated to serve as Freedman’s sr. business development manager, bus, working in tandem with Brzezniak on market growth and product development.

For nearly 28 years, Mienik has led Freedman’s mid-size bus sales team with tremendous success. “His ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels, product knowledge and overall industry insight will ensure Freedman’s continued success in the bus market,” said Cohen.
