Prevost announced the appointment of Francois Tremblay as president of Volvo Group Canada and leader of Canada’s Country Management Team (CMT), according to the company's news release.
In addition to retaining his position as president of Prevost and Volvo Buses North America, Tremblay will replace Ralph Acs as a member of the Volvo Group North America Country management team.
"It is truly a privilege to lead the Canadian organization for Volvo Group, one of the world's leading manufacturing groups," said Tremblay. "I look forward to working with the outstanding management team at Volvo Group Canada and serving on the Volvo Group North America Country Management team to continue supporting market opportunities and growth."
Tremblay joined the Volvo Group in January 2016 as VP/GM for Prevost and Volvo motorcoaches for the North American market.
From 2020 to 2022, he led the company through the pandemic and maintained a steady pace of growth and product innovation. He was promoted to president of Prevost and Volvo Buses North America in 2021. Tremblay holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a designation in accounting.
