Peter Pan’s Expansion
Peter Pan recently announced a partnership with Megabus, taking over all its routes in the area.
The operation is one of the largest privately-owned bus companies in the U.S., operating an all-MCI fleet of more than 200 coaches and making over 1,000 daily departures to more than 100 destinations across the Northeast.
“Peter Pan Bus Lines is growing fast by adding motor coaches, routes, drivers and amenities to better serve our customers in Washington, DC; Baltimore; Philadelphia; and other cities,” said Peter A. Picknelly, chairman and CEO of Peter Pan. “One thing that won’t change is our commitment to customer satisfaction with clean buses, professional drivers, and on-time service.”

The new, tailor-made J4500 coaches from MCI include advanced safety features, modern amenities, and the latest technology while staying true to Peter Pan's spacious cabin design and signature interior.
Peter Pan consistently relies on MCI for new coaches, technical support, and replacement parts to keep its operations running smoothly, reduce maintenance costs, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
The operation is currently working with MCI on a 2025 order to further expand its fleet.
"We love to be part of Peter Pan’s growth. For decades, we have worked together to provide coaches that enhance the brand and excel in everyday service,” said Brent Maitland, VP, MCI private sector sales and marketing. “The relationship we have with the Peter Pan team pushes our product and support to be the best, and we truly appreciate working together.”
