SEATTLE — With Sound Transit expected boost light rail service, King County Metro buses coming in and out of the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel (DSST) will now be re-routed to downtown streets, KIRO reports.
The change, which is set to take place later this month, will impact 830 daily trips, according to the report. To make the change a bit easier, Metro is adding some capacity through downtown and adding all-door boarding, as well expanding and launching bus-only lanes on two corridors.
