BOSTON — Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker said he remains "quite confident" in Luis Ramirez, the incoming GM of the MBTA, despite that the company once led by Ramirez is facing a lawsuit and investigation, reported MassLive.com.

The chair of the state's Democratic party has called on Baker to "rescind the hiring of Ramirez," the report said.

Gov. Baker touted the "rigorous search process as part of this initiative" and that Ramirez brings much-needed experience making him capable of "proactive planning and investing in the system," reported MassLive. For the full story, click here.
