ITS of America Awarded Contract for Research, Support Services
ITS America receives five year contract to support USDOT with Intelligent Transportation Systems research and stakeholder support services.
The United States Department of Transportation awarded ITS America a contract to help them with Intelligent Transportation Systems research over the next five years.

The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) has announced the organization’s award of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Intelligent Transportation Systems Research and Stakeholder Support Services. This contract will allow them to support the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) for a period of five years.
Initially awarded on November 22, 2024, the contract includes implementing services in ITS research management, stakeholder engagement, technical information sharing, analytical and communication services, and deployment support for current and future USDOT ITS activities.
“Our long-term commitment to the ITS Joint Program Office mission and vision,” said Laura D. Chace, president and CEO of ITS America. “Our expertise amongst our staff and members, and our ability to convene a diverse and collaborative group of ITS stakeholders will be assets to the successful execution of this work, and in providing for the broader needs of the transportation industry.”
ITS America has supported the USDOT with numerous services including training, public engagement and outreach, and research for over 20 years.
