BALTIMORE — The head of the Maryland Transit Administration, Paul Comfort, has been replaced. Transportation Secretary Pete Rahn named Kevin Quinn, who has been the MTA’s director of planning and programming, as acting administrator.
Quinn is the transit expert designing and delivering the BaltimoreLink plan to transform transit in the Baltimore region. He was promoted from his position as Director of Planning and Programming, according to a MDOT statement.
Erin Henson, a Maryland Department of Transportation spokeswoman, said the planned launch of the new BaltimoreLink bus system would go ahead as scheduled June 18, The Baltimore Sun reported. For the full story, click here.
