Transdev named Katrina Heineking, COO for Transdev Alternative Services division, to its North American Executive Committee.

Heineking leads the Transdev Alternative Services (TAS) division, which provides operational services for Waymo’s self-driving vehicle development and testing efforts. Services include driver recruitment, training and retention, operations management, and oversight in Waymo operations in Phoenix, the San Francisco Bay Area, and other locations. TAS supports Waymo to develop, refine, and commercialize its self-driving technology platform, as well as achieve its safety and passenger experience goals.

Heineking also provides advice and counsel to Transdev’s transit contracts in the Phoenix area.

Prior to her current position, Heineking served as regional VP for Transdev, overseeing the Southwest region. She also served as GM for several large transit systems operated by Transdev, including Phoenix Transit with 850 employees and 350 buses, plus Sun Tran (Tucson)  with a similarly large fleet of 365 vehicles.  She also was GM of Transdev’s contract in Austin, Texas, and  assistant GM for the Charlotte Area Transit System.
